We are manufacturing beautiful 6" rift sawn white oak long length flooring for Philip House, a classic prewar condominium renovation in the highly desirable Carnegie Hill neighborhood of New York City’s Upper East Side. The Cheshire Group and Interior Designer Victoria Hagen have created 76 residences (11 floors) that combine traditional grace with a casual modern lifestyle.
The designer envisioned a natural, uniform appearance with a “nude” finish and minimal color toning. To accomplish the desired look, we are hand-selecting the face lamellas to provide a tight color range. The floor’s appearance is integral to the serene elegance and linearity that flows through the sophisticated interiors designed for luxurious modern day living in an historical setting.
